Just a suggestion, Cornhusker4Palin. When quoting a source that is just an excerpt from a third source, it's best to trace it back to the origin.

This was originally from The Right Sphere blog.

A Tale Of Two Economies In The Headlines

The story is an amazing comparison of headlines from 2004 with today's headlines.

http://www.therightsphere.com/2011/12/a-tale-of-two-economies-in-the-headlines/ Good site. I'll have to visit it more now. The Fox Nation site I used does have a link to this site in their outline of the article.

Wow they unemployment rose higher under Bush and Obama reigned in unemployment faster . Your article neglects to say on day 1 Bush inherited an unemployment rate of 4.2%, which increased 1.5%, to 5.7%.

Obama inherited n unemployment rate of 7.8%, and it is 8.4% a .06% increase. Which is impressive considering the recession that began in 2007, combined with bushs market crash
evaporated 12 trillion in american wealth , lost 9% of GDP and losing 700,000 jobs amonth jst before President Obama took office. By contrast, there was a slight .06 dip in gdp 3 months before Bush took office.

Furthermore Bush inherited a surplus and 5.8 trillion in future surplus'. Obama inherited a 12 trillion $ debt, 6 trillion more than bush did in 2001 . Obama inherited a 1.4 trillion $ deficit , whereas Bush inherited surplus'

Thanks for unknowingly proving my point.
