Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14 (see trends).

In a potential Election 2012 matchup, former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum is at 45% while President Obama earns 44%. This is the first time in any poll that Santorum has led the president.

George Stephanopoulis spews, as a former short stop for the Clinton administrations, Stephan tries (unsuccessfully) to pass himself off as a JournOlist.

Just this morning Steph announced that Mitt's Nevada "landslide" has secured Mitt's nomination....without mentioning the total delegate count for Nevada compared to the rest of the USA. Facts confuse Mathmatically challenged Liberals.

Let me help Stephan out....Delegate counts for GOP by state

    Texas 155, Georgia 76, Pennsylvania 72, Nevada 28

Rasmussen is a Republican leaning poll, so this is at best when normalized a tie. But find comfort where you can, Rick Santorum will never be President of these United States.

Are your predictions of the "future" reliable ? Because the "Mitt Romney is a shoo in" predictions seem to be flawed as of late.

I think I'll wait six months and compare the MSM predictions to the "Reagan Cannot win" predictions of the 1980's. He won, ya know ?

Santorum showed himself to be completely out of touch with people in dealing with the question about prescription drug costs.

I have to hand it to Faux Noise, they have done a great job of brainwashing their audience into voting against their own best interest, what an effective propaganda machine.

I have countless times taken articles from the AP and other sources that also were carried by Fox or Newsvine and posted them from those places so that when the usual Fox bashing comes in, I point out the real original source and.... By the way, does a story that originates somewhere suddenly lose valididity if Fox carries it too?

Generally, any time Fox Noise carries a story that story automatically becomes suspect because of Fox Noise's long history of dispensing conservatively biased information.

Wow, you found one story that Fox Noise can't benefit republicans by placing some right wing slant on it.

There is no debating it, Fox News is very biased to the right. There are many examples on YouTube of that bias in action. So you conservatives can live in your Fox Noise is pure as the driven snow bubble if you want to but the rest of us prefer to live in reality, and the reality is that Fox Noise is simply NOT fair and balanced.

As usual, fair and balanced and no bias. I think that you like many mix up actual news articles and shows with those that clearly are opinion articles or programs. Which of the above stories is less true because Fox has a conservative editorial/opinion section?

imho he will not be the nominee. not that it matters who the GOP nominee is, imho President Obama will be re-elected. Romney, Gingrich, Paul, Santorum remind the electorate daily why we should not vote for them. no vision, no plan except reverting back to very same policies/philosophies that got us into the mess we are in. intelligent voters will not accept that again.

Intelligent people do not IGNORE 4 years of a Democrat Majority in Congress and the Senate from 2007 - 2010....Congress spends and makes unconstitutional laws....and Congressional Failure brought about the 2010 Tsunami GOP wave.....Pelosi was "bagged", Obama is next as the Democrat Senate retirees scuttle towards the door.

Blame Bush has expired for intelligent observers of the Truth about Obama.

There are other things to consider when voting for a president, such as, the Supreme Court. I don't want more conservatives on the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court is the only thing standing in the way of religious conservatives who wish to turn this country into a Christian Theocracy.

The American people still have unpleasant memories in their minds that refuse to go away because they were forced to endure eight years of the Shrub administration, all thanks to the folks who pulled off some clever electronic voting machine fraud.

"blame bush" will never expire. not until we stop paying for his mistakes. gonna be along time, JayTee. only an ignorant voter would happily embrace the same old failed policies/strategies/exclusion and protectionism that the GOP is advocating for. the lack of a viable plan and new vision for this country is a problem. the candidates know it, their backers don't care.

Santorum is one of the worst of the republican candidates because he acts as if he wants to be the pastor in chief of the country. He seems to think that it's governments role to be micro managing what other people do in their private lives.

He seems to have little to no understanding of the great wisdom of the founding fathers in making the government secular. A decision that has been one of the great secrets of America's greatness.

He's a relic from the dark ages that we don't need in the White House in this era of enlightenment.

Obama is not enlightened. He's in the process of denying the religious liberty and consciences of millions of Americans by telling several churches what they must do whether doing so goes against what they believe or not. Obama is making the Catholic church into defenders of religious liberty now.

oh, the voters are becoming enlightened about obama and that is bad news for him....and it is not just catholics that are enraged by obama’s transgression against religious liberty..believe me..many dems are now coming forward saying they regret their yes vote on obamacare, and are feeling betrayed, axelrod is trying to walk it back and beohner has vowed to repeal it, not so good news for barry..

Obama is certainly more enlightened than all of the pathetic republican candidates. The only decent candidate in the GOP lineup is Ron Paul.

You republicans are actually going to talk about defending religious liberty? that is funny. Republicans have been trying to get faith based fundamentalist doctrine written into law and forced on the country for years. It's your side that wants to tell women what they can and can't do regarding their reproductive rights. And it's you people who have never had a problem telling gay people that they can't get married because that would violate some people's faith based BELIEF about marriage. Your side is constantly trying to force prayer in school in spite of the fact that it would violate the freedom of conscience of those kids who are of another religion or of no religion at all. So take the beams out of your own eyes before you try and take the sliver out of Obama's
